| Introduction | Stan has been a practicing health care administrator for 32 plus years. As CEO of Alliance Community Hospital (ACH) he is experiencing the most rewarding and meaningful time of his professional career. What makes it so are the people (colleagues), physicians, volunteers and Board of Trustees at ACH that are providing an opportunity for practicing Health Caring the way it should be. These are the team members of ACH who dedicate themselves to caring for patients and each other every day. They are creating a new type of practice environment based on the definitions and expectations of ACH patients. Throughout his professional career Stan was blessed with teachers, mentors, coaches (bosses who knew he would make mistakes) and friends who gave him guidance, support and understanding. People such as Bob Shouldice, Charles Stearns, Andrew Ganti, Bob Clarke, Jim Rigby, and Bill Turman who taught and shared with him the principles of leadership and caring. |
