Introduction	Born in Abilene, Texas. Raised in Biloxi, MS on Keesler Air Force Base. I have lived in Austin, Texas for the last 13 years. I am a mother, a friend, and an incredibly passionate person. Politically I tend to lean a little, if not a lot, to the left. For all intents and purposes I believe a government should be a combined effort of the people, one individuals ideas are not sufficient to positively run a Nation. I am not a Democrat or Republican but I do believe in human equality especially with respect to social, political, and economic affairs. Much like Egalitarianism it is a social philosophy advocating the removal of inequalities among people.As a mother of two elementary age boys and an infant I am very disappointed by our state as well as our Nations lack of equal opportunities offered in Education. A Nation cannot be built on transit systems and roads alone. It is essential for our children of today to be creative thinkers and innovative learners for the future of tomorrow.
