About me

Introduction Birthed in printmaking, weaned on digital media, Vincent Marcone has become his own unique creation and dark architect behind an electronic temple that now attracts converts from all over the world. Vincent made his debut with MyPetSkeleton.com, a digital art slide show of wispy phantoms, and lonely scarecrows trembling in a world of green mist. Sinister yet soothing, "My Pet Skeleton" was instantly recognized by some of the leading media entities in the field. He went on to garner awards and honours from places as diverse as the Emmy’s, the Juno’s, the Flash Forward Film Festival, the FWA, Muchmusic, the MacWorld Digital Art Expo and David Bowie.com. In 2005, Marcone was awarded one of the highest honors in the Canadian music industry, a Juno award, for his best cd design and cover for industrial group “Jakalope”. Vincent is also one third of the 3 headed beast that is "Johnny Hollow"... a band that has been described as a 'hidden gem' of indie music. Marcone currently resides in his studio in Kitchener Ontario... his sanctuary in a derelict warehouse, where he paints the pictures in his head... and listens to the passing phantoms that are constantly trying to get his attention.
