Favorite music	It bothers me when people say, "I hate anything mainstream." You should love everything that is true and good and genuine. Music has the uncanny power to help us transcend what we know and express what we discover.
Favorite books	I read a lot. Mostly, I read for my curriculum, because I'm a teacher. I want to read anything and everything that has been written well and that will challenge me intellectually and spiritually.
