| Introduction | After Shawn passed away and I lost our baby I had never felt so much grief. Every single day was hard. Shawn and I were together for 12 years. I didn't know how to be "Me" without him. I took the last year to grieve, and to figure out who I was. A year later it's still hard and I still have hard moments. However, I have figured some things out, I'm finding my new normal, and I'm finding strength I didn't know I had. I now hold our memories in my heart where they will be with me forever. Over a year later, I'm still trying to figure things out. However, I can now say that I'm also looking forward to my future once again, I'm looking forward to being happy again one day, and a year ago I could not have said that. |
