| Introduction | I have taught at Roncalli Catholic since 1991 primarily in Religion, Theology, and Philosophy, but also in Speech, English and American Government. I also taught at Humphrey St. Francis in Humphrey, Nebraska for six years. I graduated from the College of St. Thomas with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English/Language Arts in 1980. I received a Master of Arts degree from the College of St. Thomas in Teaching in 1985. I also have a Master of Arts degree in Theology, Systematics at St. John's University in 2006. I taught Theology at Creighton University and the College of St. Mary and Philosophy for Metropolitan Community College. I received a Mandatum from the Archdiocese of Omaha and was named Secondary Teacher of the Year by the archdiocese for 2011. The NCEA published my book in March, 2017: The Religion Teacher's Handbook: A Primer on the Vocation of Teaching Catholic High School Religion. I am on the Omaha Archdiocesan Diaconate team as the Catechism Assessment Coordinator since 2014. |
