Introduction	Coco was an amazing dog that was still young and had his whole life ahead of him. He would have been 3years old in February. He provided companionship for us and our children and was just a big baby that wanted to play and be loved. He was killed because an officer did not want to wait to figure out a different way to handle things, and we are trying to get justice for him. Lee County was not warranted in the actions they took. We need to create a stir that will wake a nation! Animal lovers everywhere need to unite so this will not happen to someone else! We are true believers that we cannot bring Coco back, but if we can help other pit bulls find good homes and quality care then we are doing something right. We know that Coco is looking down with a smile on his face because this is the right thing to do! There are so many dogs out there of the bully breed that end up in shelters or the wrong hands and we want to do our best to help minimize that. We can't do it overnight, but we can do it one pit bull at a time!
