Introduction	Setting out into the wilderness of the open road, equipped with little more than a GPS, an iPhone, a BlackBerry, and a Honda Civic loaded with prepared snacks and more luggage than we will ever need, we leave for our gap year road trip. We departed the Northeast in late February with the intention of driving through the Southwest and back over a period of eight weeks. The content we generate for this blog is the information we believe would have been useful during the planning of our own trip. For a frame of reference, we are recent college graduates, so our perspectives will be colored thusly, but we think and hope our insights will be broadly applicable. Follow our Southwestern sojourn as we chronicle our experiences in each city.
