| Introduction | I am married to Syd, my beloved husband of 30+ years. We have eight wonderful children, 4 boys and 4 girls, ranging in age from 9 to 23. We are blessed to be followers of Jesus Christ, wanting more than anything to see Him at work in our family and home. Our desire is that we would glorify Him in all that we do. Our family has lived on a ranch in Northeast Texas for the past 21 years. We have chickens and raise a few cattle, but most of our efforts are devoted to raising children. I am thankful for the friends and family God has placed in my life. He uses them daily to help me keep my focus and to encourage me. I love stories. (I get that from my daddy.) Whenever I tell them, people say, "You need to write a book." The book has never happened, so this blog is the next best thing. Who knows -- maybe this will be the seed that sprouts into a book. You never know... |
