Introduction	You may ask...what possesses you to teach 7:00 in the morning...beginning string classes?! Hmmm...in my college years and 20s and 30s, I couldn't have done it. I loved the private music teaching I did that allowed me to raise 5 boys. Somewhere in the middle of that, I think God re-wired me to totally love class environment. I started teaching with CCEIM when my youngest, now 17 started cello as a 3rd grader. I unexpectedly found I loved wading into the group environment of helping kids learn an instrument, at the same time they were learning to make music together. It is a daily miracle. I love seeing the light go off in their eyes when they "get it". I started with piano at age 4, violin in middle school, added cello in my twenties under Dominik and Florence Saltarelli in San Antonio Texas, and added some viola in a few years later. Church music, and community orchestras, and songwriter groups have always been part of my music life. In short, I love having your kids come to my class and see them start to experience music and the neat team work and bridge building that occurs along the way. I'm looking forward to another year of seeing those miracles.
