| Introduction | Beth is a full-time freelance medical and health writer. She has more than 30 years' experience writing for newspapers, magazines, and trade journals. After earning her Bachelor's degree in English from Tufts University, she has written for many local papers in eastern Pennsylvania, including The Express Times and The Morning Call. Growing up in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Beth is a die hard Philly sports fan.
