Canidae Art aims to stimulate the eyes and the mind with a unique blend of Neo-Primitive art, combining themes of Prehistory, evolution of Nature with modern concepts of colour and style.
Canidae Art seeks to provide an in-depth analysis of Palaeolithic Art, creating vast forms of expression using modern concepts. This unique and highly personal style of art has evolved from platforms of poetics, nature and anthropology.
I am a self-taught artist who loves to discover new techniques and new colour theories by accident. I believe that my art is a vision that merges modern culture and modern artistic styles with the earliest roots of our artistic culture. The cave paintings of Europe (Altamira, Lascaux) are my single greatest influence.
Nature too, plays a huge role in the creation of my canvases. The more we learn about the world around us, in terms of ecology, anthropology, palaeontology and more, the more we learn about ourselves and our own origins.
