Introductionred drive weekdays 4-8 redfm 104-106 t'was the Wee County that bred me but the Rebel County that made me... Dundalk to Cork, via UCC, old enough to know better, a fiery fecker on a mission to spread the love...likes to talk, hard to shut up, bit excitable, big messer, big heart... Oh did I mention he is a Spurs fan? Yeah not a bad time to be one either is it!! at long feckin' last says you & him... and even though he now claims to be a Real Madrid fan (saw 'em play 5 times, like), in his heart of hearts he knows he is a Yiddo for life...watched Dundalk win leagues and cups, but allegiances now lie with CCFC...spot Dave @Turner's Cross cheering on City, wishing he was on the pitch...as he was with UCC, Rockmount and Pearse Celtic...still plays a mean game of ball...can also be spotted walking his dog, talking to strangers, picking up litter and occasionally in the surf at either Inch or Inchadoney or perhaps mountain biking on Ballyhoura's rockin' trails...next up for 2012 kite-surfing...maybe!
Interestsplaying footy, surfing, biking, walking the dog (not a euphemism), moaning, reading, laughing, breathing, roadtrips, growing things, acting the langer, new experiences, life in general, oh and you of course...

Favorite booksJoseph Heller's brilliant Catch 22 (from whence came the phrase), Jack Kerouac's classic beat novel On The Road, Gabriel Garcia Marquez' equally classic One Hundred Years of Solitude is a daunting but richly rewarding read, John Steinbeck's Grapes of Wrath is one for those with a burning social conscience, Irish-Australian Peter Carey's Booker prize winning True History of the Kelly Gang is a rivetting blood-boiling read, Irvine Welsh's Trainspotting is a million times better than the film and it wasn't all that bad! J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings trilogy is a massive undertaking but it truly has no equal in terms of fantasy adventure, Patrick McCabe's The Butcher Boy is a modern Irish classic, George Orwell's Animal Farm and 1984 are all-time classics, while another absolute must-read book of recent times is Yann Martel's Life of Pi...
