| Introduction | This year will wrap up my 6th year as a first grade teacher and my second year teaching a gifted cluster class. I've lived in Arizona my whole life and even went to school at the very one I now teach at (although back then the campus was much smaller and my current classroom was actually in the second grade wing...). I'm not married but I have the world's best boyfriend and the 27 kiddos I currently teach are enough kids for me! |
| Interests | Reading, hiking, rock climbing, Buying children's books, visiting teaching blogs, watching Food Network and DIY Network, traveling whenever possible... I'm also a "dabbler." I dabble in knitting, looming, crocheting and cooking - I love trying new things, but sometimes find it hard to stick with it. We'll see whether or not blogging sticks... :) |
| Favorite Movies | I love movies. Period. There are very few that I DON'T like (i.e Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon type stuff). I LOVE the HP movies - can't wait for part 2 this summer! Also chick flicks are a favorite genre - How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Must Love Dogs, 27 Dresses...you get the picture. |
| Favorite Music | I WILL listen to just about anything, however more often than not my radio lands on one of the 2 country stations programed in my car. I love to sing (in private), so I need music that I can sing to. :) |
