IntroductionLinda K. Thomas belongs to a family of storytellers. Something deep inside compels them to write, and besides, working with words is more fun than scrubbing floors and cleaning toilets. As a writer and speaker, she inspires people to know and enjoy God, even in— especially in—difficult times. Her work has appeared in newspapers, magazines, and blogs, and she has authored two memoirs, Grandma’s Letters from Africa (2010) and Please, God, Don’t Make Me Go! (2018). Linda also has a blog for beginners who wish to write memoirs from a spiritual perspective, based on Deuteronomy 4:9 which tells people to remember what they’ve seen God do and to tell their kids and grandkids. Not every page or chapter must mention God, but Linda encourages writers to look back, connect the dots, and discover the good things God was doing, often in the background. You’ll find her blog, Spiritual Memoirs 101, at https://spiritualmemoirs101.blogspot.com. She posts lots more info and inspiration at the blog’s Facebook Page at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Spiritual-Memoirs-101/208789029139817.
