Introduction	I am a retired pastor in the United Church of Christ, a denomination with headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio. It is an open minded, accepting, tolerant denomination whose motto is--"No matter who you are or where you are on the journey of life, you have a home in the United Church of Christ." It's members attempt to live out that motto in their daily lives in service to God and neighbor. I retired after 27 years of ministry and now live in Tyler, Texas with my wife and dog. I am serving as part time pastor to a small rural church in northeast Texas.
Interests	Travel, cooking, movies, books, walking for exercise, music
Favorite books	My most recent book to read was "The Summer Before the War" by Helen Simonson. It was a very good book to read, very interesting and it provided a lot of thought about what life was like in England before WWI began. I would highly recommend it.
