IntroductionPica Maloria (foul billed magpie) shares the Pica love of all things shiny, frequency and obnoxiousness of call, and love of carrion (particularly with a lovely sherry, shallot, cream sauce) She is, however, a bit more changeable in her color pattern and has no tail. Or wings. Or feathers. Though she’s been known to collect feathers. Pica Maloria can only be found year round in Reno Nevada, but has been known to take short migrations to Europe, Cabo San Lucas, and the black rock desert. If you see her in her more outrageous plumage, be sure to snap many photos, as she’s also fairly vain.
