| Introduction | My previous life was in an advisory capacity for pupils with special needs. My continuing life is to learn all I can about creating textiles from a personal point of view. This includes developing sketchbooks as a starting point for various types of textiles. This is all very new for me and the journey only began just over a year ago. I'm discovering a world of developing surface design on fabric. I'm experimenting and learning about colour, texture, shape and how to apply all of this to textile design from a personal starting point. I'm learning numerous accompanying skills all of which is proving a delight. This is my record of a visual journey.... |
