| Introduction | I am a graduate of San Jose State University's Master's of Library and Information Science program (MLIS). I also have a BA in Public and Oral History from California State University San Bernardino. I work as a librarian and grant writer, which is what seems to have turned on my writing gene. Until now, I didn't know I had one! I have an amazing husband, who I met through Match.com, and a fantastic 8-year old son. I am a very lucky woman who has been around the block enough times to know not to take things for granted or too seriously! Insofar as my interests, I love yoga and have been practicing for more than 20 years now. It may have saved my sanity and patience on more than one occasion! I also love a good book, and I don't think I will ever be able to own a Kindle. I enjoy the feel and smell of real books so much more than a word-filled screen.
