| Introduction | Irvin is a native of New Orleans having been reared in the Carrollton and Old Jefferson areas of the city. Irvin perceives his calling to ministry as lifelong since he can’t remember a time when he didn’t feel a sense of God’s call in his life. For 33 years he has been married to Monica Fornea Boudreaux of Bogalusa. They have two grown children and two grandchildren. The Boudreauxs are graduates of Southeastern La. University and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Together they have done further studies in United Methodist History Doctrine and Polity. Irvin is a student of Monastic spirituality and an Oblate of St. Joseph Abbey. Monica and Irvin enjoy reading, gardening and just taking walks together. They are delighted to be a part of the United Methodist work in New Orleans where Irvin serves as Senior Pastor of St. Luke's United Methodist Church. |
