About me

Introduction	Drink, my husband, and I have been travelling the world for more than 25 years. We were both educators in Singapore and so our vacations coincided. My interest in travel began in the 1960s with my fascination for high school Geography and History. In the 1990s my husband began to toy with the idea of spending a few weeks in a new country each year. The two interests came together into full frution when the children became independent. Upon retirement we sold all our property and began to live off two suitcases. We have travelled by air, sea, and land, covered all the continents(except Antartica) ignored prominent tourist attractions, avoided theme parks, found places not listed in tourist brochures, made gaffes, got cheated and robbed, met very helpful people in the strangest of places, barely escaped a cyclone, sailed in pirate waters, passed through major shipping canals, avoided skirmishes and riots and to top it all, met the most fascinating and happy people who have enriched our lives.
