| Introduction | 80 year old retired after 38 years as a California DOT highway designer and planner. Attended local schools in Live Oak and Marysville, CA. Drafted in 1951 and sent to Okinawa as MP. Later, went to Japan for additional supply training. Had opportunity to go to Japan visiting Tokyo and Hiroshima. Went to work for CalTrans in 1954 and retired in 1991. I am now living in Albany, OR. |
