| Favorite books | I'm a children's librarian...so I read mostly kids books. Some of my faves are The Iron Giant, the Harry Potter series, Watership Down, The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane, A Dog's Life, and Mo Willems goofy pigeon books. When I'm not reading kiddie lit I get a kick out of Shirley Rousseau Murphy's Joe Grey mysteries, John Grisham and other mystery type books. I also loved Magic Kingdom for Sale, Sold and the rest of that series by Terry Brooks. I enjoy decorating & vintage themed books, one of my favorites on this subject called Funky Sui. I've recently discovered humorist Celia Rivenbark, and the Gallery of Regrettable Food. Dave Barry makes me laugh. I'm beginning to get into cookbooks and books about the "domestic arts". |
