| Introduction | After years of shooting with 35mm film cameras, what magic I discovered in the world of digital photography! Photoshop and Lightroom allow for unlimited artistic expression which has been an added bonus. My interests have always been centered around gardening and that's where my photography got its roots. Hummingbirds hold a special spot in my heart and lens as I watch their magical, and sometimes quite confrontational movement around my yard. Digital photography has helped open new areas of interest beyond my garden--awesome sunsets, Osprey in flight, the ever-changing landscapes of our agriculturally based geography and dramatic spring wildflower shows in the foothills. I live with the philosophy "It's a beautiful world out there--go capture it!" |
