| Introduction | Even though we have lived in Japan for 10 years now, every day is an adventure for the adults in the family. The kids speak fluent Japanese, have gone to Japanese schools their whole lives, and therefore know the culture like natives. Tim and I, in contrast, are always stumbling and fumbling and bumbling through our daily lives. You really need a good sense of humor and the ability to laugh at yourself. |
