Introduction Well, 'tis a sad fate. I have AADOLAS Syndrome. Yes, it is a certifiable condition (okay, I'm lying. Sounds good, though. Feel sorry for me yet?) AADOLAS, for those of you fortunates who have not suffered the horrors of this debilitating condition, is one that affects millions of middle-aged (*Gasp!* Did I just say that?) to elderly adults. AADOLAS, or Adult Attention Deficit...Oh, Look, A Squirrel! Syndrome is no laughing matter, folks. Trust me. It makes my life very difficult. I rarely speak a coherent sentence, I lose my car keys in the strangest places (read: top shelf of the fridge), each room of my house is only partially clean, and burned dinners can be commonplace. In fact, the best way to describe this is...wait. Text message. Hold on a sec. Haha! Oh, that is funny. I need to forward this. hmm, hmmm, hmmmm-hmm. Okay. Sorry. Where was I? Oh, time to start dinner. Need to do dishes first though. Where the heck did I put the sponge? ....
