| Introduction | I will start with the role I love the most – mom to two lovely daughters. My oldest, Caitlin, graduated from Penn State and works in public health in Philadelphia. As a bilingual counselor for sexually transmitted diseases, her world is quite diverse. My youngest, Taylor, just graduated from University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in zoology and environmental studies. She will start a research internship in the fall. Both are amazing young women, and I am a very proud mom. I grew up in southern Missouri and attended Northwestern University. I have lived in Chicago, Omaha, Kansas City, Indianapolis and here! I received my master’s in Student Personnel Administration in Higher Education from Springfield College and a graduate certificate in Academic Advising from Kansas State University. Higher education is a re-careering move for me; I spent 15 years in health care administration. I have been at Framingham State University for six years as the Director of Academic Support and Disability Services. |
