| Introduction | Hi there! My name is Engelise. I'm a left-handed, right-brained, self-taught designer. I love God, my family, travelling, stories, snow, teaching, the smell of puppy breath, vegetables, notebooks, typography, honesty, language, having conversations, Europe, poetry, creativity, sincerity and piano music. I am convinced that I dream in colour and that I can understand what my four-legged children say - most of the time anyway! My inspiration comes from nature, vintage themes, the countries that I've visited and the world around me. I often come up with new ideas and designs while listening to Jacques Brel and still wearing my pyjamas. Along with original designs I offer attention to detail, out-of-the-ordinary materials and a warm, personal approach. Each and every piece is finished by hand - often while watching Grey's Anatomy, romantic comedies or The Big Bang Theory. |
