Introduction	I've always been a reader. I finished my first Babysitter's Club book in kindergarten. I read to escape, to be entertained, and to get new information. I have two careers, both of which engage me but only one that I blog about. I have been teaching Red Cross swimming lessons for 11 years. I became an Instructor Trainer in Januray of 2010. I swam competitively from the age of 10 all the way through college, and have coached children's swim teams for several years. While teaching swimming lessons is my "second job", aquatics has always been an important part of my life.
