Introduction	R.D. Moon is a global technology & strategy consulting manager in Capgemini Sogeti’s US Advisory Services practice. A mainframe computer operator for a nuclear missile base while still a teenager, he wrote his first commercially-licensed software code at age 23. After 15 years as a corporate CIO for three $1bn+ companies, Ardie moved to consulting in 1998 as a Partner with Arthur Andersen LLP. Focusing on technology initiatives to propel enterprise capability, Ardie’s clients include Vivendi, Goldman Sachs, Flextronics, Cisco Systems, Commerce Bank, Sempra Energy, Colony Capital, Cargill, Intel, Nippon Telephone & Telegraph, Fairmont Hotels, Visa International, PIMCO and Grant Thornton. He has served as a senior officer of a Fortune 500 company, a public real estate investment trust a Silicon Valley software company, and has advised boards of directors and private investors in IPOs, acquisitions and transformation programs. Ardie earned his MA in Economic Geography at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and his MBA at the University of Chicago.
