| Introduction | Greetings! As you can no doubt tell by now, my name is Ben. I’m a third year Film undergraduate student, self-confessed nerd of the highest order, and (surprise surprise) an aspiring writer of anything from reviews to screenplays. My life in Southampton has found me embarking on some rather crazy adventures as of late. I’ve been sent on assignment to the London Film Festival (living the commuter life for 3 weeks), started a topical panel show with SUSUtv, and even found myself wandering around in the background of a Hollywood film. Life is never boring down here - and with my new role as Film Editor of the University’s official entertainment magazine The Edge, it’s likely to get a whole lot busier. I hope you enjoy reading about what may well prove to be the maddest year of my life to date, showcasing all the wonderful things Southampton and the Wniversity has to offer. |
