| Introduction | SweetPea was purchased 6-29-10 with the sole purpose to do the Great American Loop. SweetPea is a 1991 Tollycraft 44'cpmy. We spent the first summer learning the systems and educating ourselves on handling a boat of this size. Our previous boat was a 17' Basstracker so there certainly was a learning curve. On Oct 9,2010. we dropped our lines and headed south for our breakin shake down cruise. We arrived in Stuart FL on Feb 1,2011 which will be our starting point on the loop. Follow us as we head back north up the east coast of Florida to begin "the great adventure" 6000+ miles through 19 states and Canada. On Jan7,2012 we crossed our wake, arriving back in Stuart FL where our great Loop adventure began, just 11 months ago. We will kick back here for a couple months attend to some maintence on SweetPea before heading over to the Abacos islands in the Bahamas for a couple of months. |
