| Introduction | I orignially grew up in southern Cal but consider South Carolina home. I come by my southern roots honestly. My maternal grandmother was from Oklahoma and my mother lived there until their house burnt down when she was 6, so those southern roots are embeded deep in my soul. I was married on May 24, 2008 to my sweetheart and best friend Mark Pidgeon; who is the love of my life. Although he is a "Yankee" through-and-through, I couldn't ask for a better man. Together we share my/our 3 children, their spouses, and 10 grand children; who by the way are the brightest and best-looking kids anywhere; and I double-dog-dare anyone to prove me wrong!!! Mark formerly worked for Nintendo of America but in March of 2012 they outsourced his department and is now seeking his dream job in governmental affairs, preferably with the outdoor community! I am a program assistant for Elder and Adult Day Services "EADS", a non-profit dayhealth center in Bellevue,WA where I work with young adults with developmental disorders and love what I do. Although WA is not where I expected or wanted to ever live again, it is a beautiful state. So as long as Mark is here...than so am I. |
