Why does the color blue mean raspberry-flavored?
Visible light is a form of electromagnetic radiation with wavelengths of 400-700 nm. Different wavelengths are seen as different colors and a mixture of all the possible colors appears to be white. When a color is missing from white light, the eye will see the complementary color. Things that are raspberry-flavored must be absorbing the red components of light, making them appear to be blue.
