| Introduction | I'm a Brit, married to a Gold Coast girl with an American and an English child. Left the 'Mother Country' (kicking and screaming) in early 2006 to start a new life in Sydney. I was working on Wall Street in 2001 but was transferred home shortly before 9/11. I lost a friend, John, a guy i used to share smoke breaks with, who just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Before then, i didn't give a toss about politics (apart from some mindless student demos in the early 90s). Now i do. |
