| Introduction | Me in a Nutshell: Highly curious. Wee bit neurotic. Creatively obsessed. Restless. Loves a good laugh. Craves a great conversation. Can't stand burnt toast. I currently gather inspiration from the lines, layers and colors found in the farm fields and the old, worn barns that surround where I live. From the patched utilitarian work quilts of long ago. From antique Japanese boro, and from the long, colorful, hand-stitched rows found in Indian patchwork. Why the name "Silly BooDilly"? It's a nickname and a nod of affection to one of the best friends I have ever known, my late, sweet dog "Molasses BooDill". She was undoubtedly one of the greatest souls I have ever had the good fortune to meet, and I will be forever grateful for each and everyday that we shared together. |
