Introduction	Well, Patti sold her first article to a national magazine when she was sixteen. Over the years she has written over 500 articles for equine publications. Even had a monthly column for awhile. As a reporter, she covered horse shows and conventions. The urge to write novels kept making itself known. In 2004 her first novel, "Mountain Shadows," was published. It is set in the Prohibition era in NY State’s Adirondack Mts. Patti was elated when "Mountain Shadows" was chosen by several New York State high schools as required reading. It gave her the confidence to continue writing fiction. Today she has the first in a series of mystery novels featuring horse profiler, Ike Cherny. "Fame & Deceit" is a nationally acclaimed murder mystery set in New England’s Horse World.
