| Favorite music | I'm just like any other person. My favorite music depends on my mood. When I want to discover a new idea within myself I listen to classical music. It's lack of lyrics simply encircles my own thoughts with piano keys and violins., When I'm sad I listen to songs with depressing lyrics. For a few minutes it brings me some comfort knowing that at least one person out there (the music artist) can relate to me. After about an hour of that I then listen to happy music because I get tired of being blue., When I'm cheerful I listen to sad tunes. Yep because I like knowing that I'm happy enough that even the dreariest of lyrics have no effect on me. Of course after a few minutes of that I then just move to upbeat music., The music artists I currently would consider my favorites however are:, April Smith and the Great Picture Show, City and Colour, Claude Debussy, Colbie Caillet, Coldplay, Copeland, The Corrs, A Fine Frenzy, Frederic Chopin, Icehouse, Ingrid Michaelson, J.S. Bach, Keane, Lenka, Ludwig Van Beethoven, Mae, Meaghan Smith, Nevershoutnever, Old Crow Medicine Show, Phantom Planet, Regina Spektor, Relient K, Stephen Jerzak, Tomaso Albinoni, Vast, and Weezer., (They are in alphabetical order because it's too much of a trial to try and list them in order of favorites. I adore them all.) |
| Favorite books | A Portrait of a Lady,- because it taught me that even the most clever people have emotions., A Picture of Dorian Gray,- because it taught me that the deepest words that can be said are cynical and they are lies. Lies were made to fool people. They do their job well., The Giver,- because it taught me that it's inevitable to avoid pain when you hunt for truth but when people know the truth they can then do what is right., Ender's Game,- becaues it taught me that appearances mean very little and your Valentine's love can last space, time, and change., Ella Enchanted,- because it taught me that disabilities don't keep anyone from getting their prince or princess., (If the sappiness bothers you then you should probably realize that life IS sappy. You disagree? You're life has never had a sappy moment? Well gosh. You must write a blog then!) |
You've successfully slain the dragon! How will you toast your marshmallows?
I'd rather marshmellow my toast actually. How will I do this? I'll become a peddler like that guy in the movie Pete's Dragon and sell the debris of my defeated mythical creature so that I can go buy marshmellows, bread and a toaster.
