| Introduction | One year ago this month, I left my job of seven years to stay home with my children of whom are were 11 and 8. I had worked most of their lives doing something I am deeply passionate about-hunger relief. Our family has been undergoing a transition into simplifying our focus, our expenditures, and our lifestyle. We try to only spend what is necessary, and within our means. I pulled my girls out of school last March, and we are now a homeschooling family. Needless to say, these are life altering changes. They are also spirit and soul altering. I spend a lot of time thinking about this year, what it means, and how our lives will change, grow and develop because of these decisions. This blog is a place for me to speak out, to be heard, to discuss, and to ponder. |
