| Introduction | I'm Sterling Libs, also known as The Money Sergeant®. I'm a Chartered Certified Accountant, qualified Social Worker, author and speaker, entrepreneur and lifelong student of the human experience. My journey has taken me from humble beginnings in Uganda to building a life and professional career in the United Kingdom. Along the way, I've learned that success is rarely about money, knowledge or ambition alone. The relationships we cultivate, the choices we make and how we respond to life's circumstances matter enormously. I'm fascinated by three interconnected dimensions of life: Money | Relationships | Progress. Here, I share reflections, original frameworks, practical insights and lessons from professional practice and lived experience. I don't claim to have all the answers. But I believe there is enormous value in asking better questions, challenging familiar assumptions and remaining curious about what makes life work. My approach is simple: Start with life. Explore the connections. Illuminate the way forward. Welcome to my world of ideas. I'm glad you're here. |
| Interests | Human behaviour, personal finance, wealth creation, meaningful relationships, decision-making, psychology, philosophy, entrepreneurship, leadership, social work, personal development, writing, public speaking, property investment, spirituality, lifelong learning and the pursuit of a successful and fulfilling life. I'm especially fascinated by what makes people think, behave and decide as they do — and what helps us overcome challenges, realise our potential and make meaningful progress in life. |
| Favorite movies | I enjoy films that explore the human spirit — stories of resilience, courage, relationships, leadership, personal transformation and triumph over adversity. Films such as The Pursuit of Happyness, Good Will Hunting, The Shawshank Redemption and Invictus capture many of the themes that fascinate me. |
| Favorite music | Music that moves the soul, quietens the mind, lifts the spirit or makes you want to celebrate being alive. I appreciate music with meaning, beautiful melodies and rhythms that remind us of our shared humanity. |
| Favorite books | I gravitate towards books that deepen my understanding of people, money, relationships, decision-making, philosophy and the art of living well. I especially value books that challenge established assumptions and leave me seeing familiar things differently. I'm also an author, and writing has become one of the ways I organise my thinking, examine life's complexities and share what I'm learning. |
