| Interests | I love photographing all of the great places around me, including landscapes and wildlife at Yosemite National Park, Point Reyes National Seashore, Sonoma Coast State Beaches, the countryside of Sonoma (my home) and Napa County, California, as well as San Francicso and other assorted places in California and elsewhere. I also love to shoot with Jean in Maine, which we do every fall when the colors are fabulous, along with some other friends, so it is a great time! We also shot photos in Napa and Sonoma Counties earlier this year. Funny thing, though. Seems like every time we get together to shoot photos, strange things start to happen! During our photo janunts we have encountered a number of dicey situations, including near hurricane level winds (in California, not Florida!), spooky people, and even strange scuba divers with guns! The good thing is that we completely trust each other so if Jean says, "Denise, get in the car" I know to head straight there, no questions asked. But we have a blast, as the next 365 days will be, sharing our photos on this blog! |
