| Introduction | Hello all, please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Leo and i live in Leicestershire. Having been a keen angler for nearly 25 years and then suddenly getting the urge to create a blog about it, this is the result. Its my first attempt at anything like this and hopefully it will provide you with a decent read as well as allowing me to keep track of what ive been up to. With regards to my Angling background, ive always had a passion for catching big fish. After my initial angling 'apprenticeship', i went on to spend 15 years chasing big Carp before seeing the light, moving on to pastures new and trying my hand at catching large specimens of other species. Ive been what you could call a 'multispecies specimen angler' for last 5 years or so now . My favourite species would have to be the Perch closely followed by the Chub. Seasonwise my favourite time is the winter due to the lack of other anglers on the bank and the fact that most species are at their heaviest at this time.
