IntroductionI love to stay put and see familiar surrounding, but I love to travel also. I have been all over Israel several times. I have been to East Africa-Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda, and Burundi (Where I almost lost my life). I have been to China and walked the Great Wall with my son. I have been to Tiananmen Square, Dengfeng China, and Shanghai. I have been to many of the States but I am most happiest at home with my family. I have seen babies be born which is the most exciting thing you can ever experience and I have held my sister in my arms while she took her last breath which is the most spiritual thing that I have ever experienced. I have been with other people when they have passed on and it always amazes me at how peaceful that moment actually can be. I have worked for many people in my life and I have worked for my self and liked that best of all. So now I own my own store and I love it. I have had it for 16 going on 17 years now and I cannot believe some days at how lucky I am and how happy I am.
InterestsIn the summer I really enjoy working in my garden, and camping, and being at the lake. I love driving in my car aimlessly and just stopping where ever. I love listening to music and watching a good movie. I love the old ones best.
Favorite musicBillie Holiday, Fantasia, Nina Simone, and others. I like songs by Bill Withers, Billy Joel, Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, Carrie Underwood, Clay Akin, Celine Dion, Dixie Chicks, Dolly Pardon, The Eagles, Edwin McCain, Taylor Hicks, Eric Clapton, Faith Hill, James Blunt, John Legend, Josh Groban, Kelly Clarkson, Lauryn Hill, Avril Lavigne, Daniel Powter, Mariah Carrey, Whitney Houston, NORAH JONES, Patsy Cline, Ray Charles, Ruben Studdard, Queen, Tim McGraw, Bach Vivaldi, Bessie Smith, Etta James, Itzhak Perlman, LeAnn Rimes, Rod Stewart, Allison Krause, and a whole bunch more that keep popping into my head.
Favorite booksI love books. I read at least 30 books a year. The three that stick out in my head that I have read this year are - Fall On Your Knees (really messed up story), A Place Of Execution was really good because you will never believe in a thousand years the way it ends and Spelling Bee was another book. I read more than those but those are the ones that stuck out. I like Robert Ludlum's books also. He did Born Identity and a whole lot more. I have about 15 or more of his books. I just finished The Color of Water and Plague of Doves and I love that one.
