A Brief Account of a Professional Slash Athlete

Introduction	I'm a professional/slash athlete... not to be confused with a "professional athlete." I’m not a professional athlete because no person or company pays me to run. I run because I love it and I'm insanely competitive. I've dreamt about running in the Olympic Trials since I was 9 years old, so that is the goal - among others. I am a professional because I work nearly full time to support my athletic self. I work as the Corporate Social Responsibility Fellow at Johnson & Johnson. I'm interested in how large corporations can partner with non-profits to positively affect sustainable development in local communities. I'm also getting my Masters in Corporate Communications at Rutgers. Busy busy! In the words of lululemon... "Breathe deeply and appreciate the moment.
