Sponges and tongues are frequently misspelled. Is it because both are thirsty?
Sponges, possibly yes, however it is not possible in the regularly thought of sense for tongues to be thirsty. The cells can become individually dehydrated, of course, but I suppose that's basically the way that sponges operate as well - they just have large openings where they can store the water for later!
