| Introduction | Let's start with the name. I'm Bob E. Baldock (pronounced Ball-Dock). I was born August 1st 1969 in Moline Illinois. In the third grade, I read the entire children's encyclopedia including the index. When I came across a subject in the index I didn't understand very well, I re-read that article. So either I have been hungry for knowledge from an early age or I'm a compulsive kind of person. Probably a little of both. I was 12 when I started my first job delivering newspapers for the Evansville Press. When I was 16 I worked at a Sunoco and the owner gave me the keys to the store. At 17 I joined the Marines as a radio repairman and served in the First Gulf War. After leaving the service, I have worked factory jobs, warehouse jobs and even drove a semi truck and a taxi for a while. In other words I'm Blue Collar, Not Blue Blood. I never have attended collage, because by the time I figured out what I wanted to do, I had a family to take care of. |
