| Introduction | HOLLY TARA came of age watching Dallas and Falcon Crest. She fell in love for the first time in 1987 with Sam Crawford (Mark Harmon, Moonlighting) and wonders if Maddie still thinks about Sam and her poor decision-making in choosing David over him? Holly is the author of an as-yet unpublished manuscript, "Everything I Need to Know in Life I Learned from Melrose Place." She enjoys dressing up in period attire to watch Mad Men with her fellow Maddicts and aspires to someday meet Salvatore Romano’s manicurist. Holly’s perfect day would include shopping Bonwit Teller with Mrs. Greg Harris (nee Joan Holloway), a three-martini lunch with Silver Fox Roger Sterling and Hot Mess Don Draper at the Oyster Bar, and tickets for a taping of "Grin and Barrett" and the arm of Ken Cosgrove for the evening. Her ideal work environment includes her own IBM Selectric, Bloody Marys in the conference room ("It’s 9:30 for God’s sakes. Have another!"), and the smell of second-hand smoke. |
