IntroductionWhat do you want to know about me? The roles I've taken on? My interests? My 'identities?' The story I tell is this: I used to be a physics nerd who dropped out of med school, then a physics nerd that dropped out of her PhD program, and a farmer who used to own llamas and alpacas and chickens. Now I'm just a nerd who likes physics and works at a Buddhist university. I have been known to be a teacher, a union organizer, an environmentalist, a belly dancer, a grad student, a Jew, a mentor, a knitter, a scifi geek, an organic gardener, a cheese maker, and an administrator. I have lived as a suburbanite in St. Louis, a City Girl in DC, a Californian in the slums of La Jolla, a farmer in rural-ish Colorado, and a yippie Boulderite. Seriously. I aspire to live a life where I to work hard, don't complain, don't covet other people's happiness, and love the ones I love with all I've got. And even when I think things are going well, I know the universe will throw me curve balls. I aspire to live a life of non-aggression, and I don't always succeed. Being human can be so joyous and heartbreaking. Much gratitude.

Your people want to make a statue in your honor. What will it be made out of and what victory will it commemorate?

Cheese. It will commemorate the first time I made cheese!
