About me

GenderMale
OccupationWriter and Retired Professor
LocationNew Haven, Connecticut, United States
IntroductionMy publications include two dozen books on biography, history, mathematics, and reference. The most recent, Born This Day, is the second and expanded edition of a 1996 work of the same title, published by McFarland & Co. A long standing passion is composing sketches of the character, humor and eccentricity of prominent people through the centuries. These have been presented in various venues and many are included in my publications. My avocation of some 50 years has been the study of history, politics, and presidents. My Ph.D is from the University of Notre Dame and my career as an educator, teaching mathematics, history and story telling spans more than forty-five years, the last thirty-three as a Professor and Vice-President for Academic Affairs at Southern Connecticut State University.
