| Introduction | I have been a runner since I can remember. Until a few years ago I had just been a few miles a day guy, just to try and stay in shape. Since being talked into training for and running a marathon in 2004 by a coworker, things have become a bit more serious. I've since run 15 marathons, a couple 50K races, and many shorter ones. On October 27th 2009 I logged enough miles to complete my first trip around the earth. ---------- Hunting has been a passion of mine since I've been old enough. The outdoor lessons and memories with my great grandfather, grandfather, dad, brothers, other relatives, friends and now my daughter are truely special. ------------- I think gardening has always been in my genes. My grandparents on both sides were farmers, but I had no real interest until I became a home owner. Since then it's become another passion of mine. I have a large vegetable garden, a small fruit orchard, grow Christmas trees, and lots of landscaping to take care of. I have also experimented with water gardening, building a pond with a waterfall and running stream. |
